8pm: Brief introduction to the themes of the residency by Nina Power:
- Transformations in the way we see bodies between the early 20th century and
the early 21st
- The death of cinematic happiness
- The relation between sexuality and work
8.15pm: Screening of Film ist a Girl & a Gun (Gustav Deutsch, 2009), 93 mins
9.45pm: Discussion of themes from the film by Nina Power; reading by Alberto
Toscano of extracts from Hervé Juvin's The Coming of the Body (2010).
